You can choose the topic of your submission, but keep an eye out for monthly themes. Deadlines can be found in the section on upcoming editions.
Artwork
Scanned/photographed and sent as a PNG file.
Audio
Sent as an MP3 recording.
There is no official time limit but generally you don't want to go beyond 5 minutes in order to stay engaging.
Fiction
Sent as a Word document.
There is no official word limit but 500 words is a good limit so that your work doesn’t go off track.
Must be based on historical fact. Please research how you would an article then feel free to write in a more artistic style.
Poetry
Sent as a Word document.
Written article
Sent as a Word document.
No footnotes are needed unless you’d like to include URLs for further reading.

If you can’t think of a title don’t worry! But the usual formula is Short title: Long title. For example, The Great Exhibition: Optimism and Collaboration in the Victorian Era or From the street corner to stardom: The incredible life of Josephine Baker.
